We have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the growth of Ivy Street Plumbing. We have completed Bookkeeping, Email response, chasing payments, apprentice incentive processing, recruitment of tradies and apprentices, HR, Social Media, PR and blogs, newsletters, and many other general admin tasks. Andreas has become a friend as well as a client, and it’s been fantastic being on his team as his business develops and grows. Jay found me on Facebook when his stress levels were through the roof! They were using paper diaries to schedule the work, and losing track of their very busy days. They also had a huge backlog of admin and bookkeeping tasks. He previously had unskilled support staff who had done their best, but he needed someone to clean everything up and fix errors. Since February 2022, we have worked hard together (and sometimes in collaboration with his accountant) to get his numbers spot on, get caught up on all the admin, customise and implement a job management system, train his staff to use the system, streamline processes, recruit and onboard tradies, apprentices, and office staff, and provide emotional support through the stress of it all. Jay has been a champion through the process, and we are incredibly excited to see the difference we have been able to make to his business. He now has full time Office Support (trained by us, even though she was already an amazing administrator), and we now simply provide ongoing support with bookkeeping. This was the case for JDS, we were able to streamline their processes, add some templates and automations, and then train them on how to get the most out of ServiceM8. They said it has been life changing in terms of their daily work life.
Doing this type of work is so satisfying. We love doing this, then sending them on their way to happily work with the system independently, knowing that they have the tools they need to work effectively now, but they love our support so much that they continue to request additional forms and changes as they need them.
